Terms & copyright
The short version: your invitation is yours, the music we provide is cleared for it, and anything you bring yourself has to be yours to bring.
What you make
Your invitations, your text, your photos and your guest list belong to you. We store them so the invitation works and so you can edit it later. We do not sell them and we do not use them to advertise without asking you first.
Music and images we provide
The tracks in the music library are licensed for use inside invitations made here, including invitations you have paid for and the video file you can download of one. You may not take those files and redistribute them on their own, sell them, or upload them to another library or stock service.
Where a track requires credit, the credit is shown next to it in the editor and travels with the invitation.
Music and images you bring
You can link your own audio, photos and video. When you do, you are confirming that you have the right to use them this way — that you own them, or you have a licence that covers putting them on a web page your guests can open.
A song you bought is not a song you are licensed to publish. Buying a track, owning the CD, or having it in a streaming library does not give you the right to play it from a public page. If you are not sure, the music library is the safe answer.
You are responsible for the media you add. If a rights holder comes to us about something you uploaded or linked, we will take it down.
Reporting copyright infringement
If you believe something on sivooy.com infringes your copyright, email hello@sivooy.com with:
- the link to the invitation you are reporting;
- what the material is and what work of yours it infringes;
- your name, address and a contact email;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your report is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them;
- your signature, electronic or physical.
We remove material covered by a valid notice promptly and tell the customer who posted it, so they can respond. Accounts that repeatedly infringe are closed.
Payment
Packages are one-time payments per invitation, not subscriptions, and they cover a fixed period of hosting: three months, twelve months or twenty-four, depending on the package. When that period ends the guest link stops working. The invitation stays in your account and you can put it back up.
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see your card number.
Ending it
You can delete any invitation at any time, which takes its link down for everyone immediately. We may suspend an account that is used for anything illegal, or to impersonate someone.
